How much does it cost to obtain the license?
The license fee is AED1,250 for individuals and AED5,000 for groups of influencers who work together and set up their own company. The license should be renewed yearly.

How do influencers apply for the license?
Influencers can submit a request for licenses on the unified digital platform TAMM.
Who needs to obtain the license?
- Emirati and expat influencers residing in Abu Dhabi.
- Influencers from outside the UAE should also obtain a license, provided they have an Emirates ID card or a UAE Unified Number.
- If an influencer is living outside Abu Dhabi, but they are promoting a brand in Abu Dhabi, they will require the license.
What collaboration types are included within these regulations?
- Paid influencer collaborations.
- For barter, seeding or event attendance, influencers will not require the license.
If influencers have the NMC license, do they still need to get the new ADDED license?
Yes, having a permit from the UAE Media Council does not exempt social media influencers from obtaining the necessary licenses and permits from ADDED.
How much is the fine for violations?
Brands must confirm talents hold a valid license issued by ADDED. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in penalties for both the brands and influencers, ranging from AED3,000 ($817) to AED10,000 ($2,723), and potentially even lead to business closures.
