Instagram is testing a “Trial” option for Reels that allows creators to share their Reel with a selection of users who don’t follow them first, to see how well it performs before it gets posted widely. 

Within 24 hours after launching the trial, creators will be able to see key engagement metrics like views, likes, comments, etc to get a sense of how it’s performing. Brands can use this in their influencer collaborations to test content first and have the chance to fine-tune it to ensure maximum impact before going live.
